Our Roots
Scott, the owner of CM Signs & Decor has over 30 years of experience in the millwrighting industry. Scott’s dad started Cook Millwrighting in 1981 after having worked for other millwrighting companies, he decided to branch out on his own. Scott first began working with his dad as a teenager during the summer months.
It was from these millwrighting roots, which included custom metal fabrication that CM Signs and Decor emerged. On occasion, we would create signs for ourselves or as gifts for family and friends. Other people upon seeing these signs inquired if we could create some for them. From there the business grew.
If you stop by our location you might find yourself surprised by how much product we can fit into our tiny showroom. CM Signs and Decor has grown to the point where we can now ship our products Canada-wide.
Who You'll Work With
When it comes to who you will be communicating with during the buying process, especially if you are wanting a custom design, you will mainly be working with Scott’s sister, Shelley or her daughter Samantha. Shelley has been a part of the team for over 25 years. Samantha is the newest member of the team. Regardless of whether you are looking for a generic or personalized item, they will strive to provide a friendly and simple process.
